Replacing the older PDP502MX is the Pioneer PDP503CMX. Improvements in contrast, and operating noise and heat are all that separate from its predecessor. Classed as a commercial model, the 503CMX has a more professional "office" look to it while it's consumer twin the Pro Elite 1000HD has a slightly thicker contoured finish.
With newly developed True Matrix technology, this commercial model 503CMX displays 16.8 million colors with amazing contrast across a 50" screen. Designed to look sleek and professional, the slim 3.8" display may be hung or placed on a stand for viewing from anywhere within the 160° viewing angle. The 1280 x 768 resolution screen produces sharp images with black striping technology to reduce outside light glare, and blue phosphor technology to brighten whites. Amazingly, DHD and progressive scanning technology produce life-like pictures that are displayed across a widescreen, 16:9 aspect ratio.
Other technologies that aid the 503CMX in producing such stunning images are eight-fold density image scaling that doubles horizontal and vertical information to create surreal representations. Continuous Emission Display Technology is used to create deeper, firmer black contrast in dark image or movie scenes. To round it all out, Pioneer incorporated their own Digital Enhancer that manages graphics and text both vertically and horizontally.
When you're done talking, use Pioneer's optional side-mount speakers to effectively project sound through the 4W amplifier that is displaced across two 2-Watt outputs. Project PC signals that are received anywhere within the range of VGA to UXGA, and HD signals that are received at either 720p or 1080i.
