If you've been looking for a lightweight, portable, TV/DVD combo, this is it! The Panasonic TC15LV1 is much like its cousin the Panasonic TC15LT1, with a few exceptions; weight, viewing angle, sound, HDTV compatibility, and the combination DVD functionality. Weighing in at 13.2 pounds, it is a pound heavier than the TC15LT1, but this does not change the fact that at 15" it is still perfect for that small space, office or dorm room.

Stay up to date with HDTV cable compatibility or watch your favorite DVD movie on this all inclusive combo system. No matter what the occasion, your co-workers and classmates will be impressed with the 854x480 resolution that displays pictures on a 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio. An active light control system and tilt function allow you to maneuver the screen to best capture the 160° horizontal viewing angle.

Also different is the sound system. The TC15LV1 will transport you to the movie theatre in Dolby Digital sound that may be listened to through either the two included speakers or the earjack outlet located on the front of the system.

Unless your HDTV is a 480p connection you may have to view digital TV programming, with an optional set-top receiver is required. Additionally, an over-the-air antenna may be required for ATSC reception. Please check with your cable company to see if their programming is compatible with this panel.
