The PT 40LC12 uses cutting edge high density television technology to bring you a clear, sharp picture at a resolution of 1280x720. The PT 40LC12's anti-glare and fine-pitch screens allow for optimum viewing of the 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio that utilizes the systems horizontal/vertical edge correction. Stereo SAP with dbx NR sound is projected through two speakers with the aid of BBE High Definition and Surround Sounds. For convenience of use, A/V and S-Video plug-ins are located at the front and rear of the system.
Customizing and personalizing your TV is easy in one of the three available programming languages of: English, French, or Spanish. Creating your unique viewing atmosphere is important when you have features like a progressive cinema scan, progressive scan doubler, high definition and artificial intelligence sound, parental guidance channel lock, and picture in picture capability.
This system also features VGA, SVGA, XGA PC compatibility.
To view digital TV programming, an optional set-top receiver is required. Additionally, an over-the-air antenna may be required for ATSC reception. Please check with your cable company to see if their programming is compatible with this panel.
